Lizardfolk are solitary and very territorial, and will attack most trespassers on site. However, once a year, all Lizardfolk gather at an area deep in the center of the jungle, were they mate, exchange information and are assigned new territories. They are lead by an Elder, who is countless centuries old, and is the ultimate authority on any disputes, decides which territories are given, and guides the overall direction of the society. Lizardfolk can potentially live for hundereds of years, however due to the dangerous habitat, they rarely live any longer than 50 years.
Because of their dangerous habitat, Lizardfolk rarely encounter species from outside the Talkec Jungle. The few Lizardfolk that do leave the jungle to explore will actually get along with individuals of other races better than with other Lizardfolk, as they won’t usually consider them a threat.
